Successful 2016 Trade Show Launch

We had a very successful launch at the Creston 2016 Spring Trade Show! It was a fantastic two days of fun and networking with local and regional businesses and non-profits!

The Volunteer Bank had a booth, and several fantastic volunteers helping out. Throughout both days, many community volunteers stopped by to ask questions, sign up and share stories about their volunteer activities.

The show was our big opportunity to get word out in the community about the Volunteer Bank, and to introduce our brand new swag…and who better to model the tote bag than our friendly neighbourhood MP, the Right Honourable Wayne Stetski!

Volunteers had a prominent role all weekend at the show…an especially warm thanks to the Air Cadets, who were running for food and doing errands for all the vendors both days. It was tough to take a picture of them that wasn’t blurry, they all moved so fast!

And special thanks to the Army Cadets, too, who helped with set-up and take-down; and at the end of the day walked the Cherry Chuckwagon all the way through town and back to Spectrum Farms! You were all amazing!

All in all, a great weekend, a great show of volunteerism in our community, and a much appreciated show of support for the Creston Valley Volunteer Bank! Thank you, everybody!
